I offer general support – both emotionally and physically.
Emotionally, I can support and comfort in times of hardship, by offering a willing ear and shoulder to cry on. Just “being there” for the elderly, who are separated from their family members has huge emotional benefits, which trickle through to their physical wellbeing. This became so evident during covid lockdown.
I can also physically support where a person is disabled or mobility challenged.
I’d love to generally assist with everyday tasks – from helping with a household or gardening task, to sorting cupboards or moving winter clothes to storage and airing out the summer items.
I do traditional caring of the elderly, sick and disabled who require help and supervision – whether it’s only for a few hours while the family goes to town, or longer term when the full-time carer is on leave.
I can arrange and manage meetings, activities, outings, and functions on behalf of the family – whether it’s a small get-together with an old friend, an intimate birthday party, or a group bingo night.
I would love to go for a walk and can even arrange private swimming classes in a heated pool. Whether the required exercise is physically or mentally, I am an experienced coach in both.
Sometimes the need isn’t for physical care or personal assistance, but merely entertainment or to “have someone there”. I am available for a chat or as a partner on an outing.
I offer training on the latest computer and mobile technology – whether it’s help with setting up Whatsapp or Facebook, or to assist with a video call to put family members in touch.
I will do your personal shopping – from general groceries and clothing, to a special birthday gift. I run chores, like taking your car for a service, renewing your license, and returning your library books.
I have a PDP license (professional driving permit) and can offer safe and reliable transport to doctor’s appointments, trips to the hairdresser, or a visit to friends. I will even arrange the appointments.
